Letter from the Chairman

Dear Friends,Dr. Daisy Saw

In these challenging times, it is good to have our Federation to network together, share ideas, knowledge and information.

The idea of forming our Federation started in 1981, although it was formally inaugurated in 1994. Its many achievements over the years under the capable leadership of the past Chairmen and Board of Directors are remarkable. Our biennial conferences hosted by our member societies are outstanding, the attendance increases every year. The topics are timely and reflect our progress with time and changing environment. Our members are at the forefront of the medical community, visible, helping and advising the community with talks, radio messages, newsletter, press releases.

We have developed and updated our website and linked our member organisations so that information can be obtained easily with a click.

Our members are active at the local and national level, advocating for better health care for our community. Many are in the task force and steering committee of National Advocacy groups.

The strenght of the FCMS reflects the strenght of our member organisations, we are proud of each one's achievements and progress, and together, we shall go to the next level.

Daisy Saw, MD
Chairman
